Domestic violence.

A women's issue. Something which happens to them. Their problem.

At least, that's how we usually think of it. But it's not just their problem.

It's men's problem too.

Not only because men, like women, can be victims. But because even as perpetrators of domestic violence, men need help and support – to come to terms with, better understand, and learn how to overcome or prevent it.

Most domestic violence takes place behind closed doors and is never spoken about by either sex. But whereas there's a history of women coming forward to talk about their experiences, for men domestic violence remains strictly taboo. It's just as hard, if not harder, for men to speak out about their experiences of abusive relationships.

No Slap Just Tickle is a campaign to increase awareness of, and dialogue about, the ways in which men are affected by domestic violence.

No Slap Just Tickle encourages every man to have the confidence enough to talk about, and speak out against, all forms of domestic violence.
